RAINN Appoints Citadel Securities Equity Derivatives Trader & Army Captain Jake Glasser To Board of Directors
Jake Glasser brings leadership across finance, military service, and advocacy to RAINN’s Board of Directors, advancing the organization’s mission nationwide.
Washington, D.C. (April 22, 2026) – RAINN, the nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organization, today announced the appointment of Jake Glasser to its Board of Directors. Glasser, a prominent figure in the financial sector and a dedicated military leader with a background in competitive athletics, brings a decade of grassroots advocacy and a unique perspective on leadership to the organization.

About Jake Glasser
Glasser currently serves as a sales trader on the institutional options desk at Citadel Securities within the Equity Derivatives division, where he helped build out the firm’s algorithmic execution offering. Glasser began his career at Goldman Sachs, where he was most recently a Vice President. In addition to his career in high-frequency finance, Glasser is a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserve, overseeing more than 60 soldiers.
A Commitment to Advocacy
His commitment to RAINN began during his freshman year at Claremont McKenna College, when he launched his first fundraiser and continued to raise funds for RAINN every year for the past decade. In 2021, he notably raised over $25,000 by completing a 22-mile ruck march with a 60-pound backpack around New York City to support the organization’s mission.
“It’s about creating a culture where stepping up as an ally is the standard, not the exception.”

“In the military, in sports, and in finance, you encounter people from all walks of life who may not organically be exposed to an organization like RAINN,” said Glasser. “By joining this board, I hope to use my platform to ensure that every colleague, soldier, and athlete knows that these resources exist. It’s about creating a culture where stepping up as an ally is the standard, not the exception.”
After a decade of independent fundraising that saw him engage diverse groups from sports teams to his Army unit, Glasser views his appointment to the board as a natural evolution of his commitment. He joins the board with a desire to use his unique position to bridge the gap between all of his circles and the critical resources RAINN provides to survivors.
“Jake’s ability to lead with both discipline and empathy makes him an extraordinary addition to our board.”
Scott Berkowitz, RAINN president and founder
“Jake’s ability to lead with both discipline and empathy makes him an extraordinary addition to our board,” said Scott Berkowitz, president and founder of RAINN. “Combined with his long-standing personal commitment to RAINN, Jake’s passion for our work and his commitment to expanding RAINN’s programs to new audiences is exactly the kind of innovative leadership we value.”
